Mmmmm... it's Mac-time! McDonald's around the world!

Tomorrow is my farewell lunch at work and when my colleagues asked where I'd like to go, where else would I say but... McDonald's!

Babs & Midge love McDonald's! One of Babs' goals is to get McGriddles to Australia (yep, she has even started up a Facebook group... http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Bring-McGriddles-to-McDonalds-Australia/155873734447576)

If you're like me and never eaten a McGriddle, here's what it is: bacon, egg and cheese, served on a maple syrup flavoured pancake sandwich.


So what other McDonald's items are we missing out on here in Australia?

Move over Apple Pie, how about the Bacon and Potato Pie??


Or the shaker fries? Does anyone remember when we did have these?


I've heard lots about the shrimp burger - meant to be pretty good!

Now for some things that I'm not sure whether I'd like to try...

The sausage and egg twisty pasta... kinda looks like it's already been eaten?

Or this one - My Poutine. Chips, gravy and cheese curds. Chips + Gravy = awesome. But the cheese curds? I don't know, maybe it's really tasty?

When in Japan I tried the Chicken Teriyaki burger - it was yum! I wasn't game enough though to try the green tea milkshake (I know, I'm sure there's more extreme things than that...) - If anyone has tried it (or any other McDonald's items from around the world), let us know what it was like!
